There are three different cider mills within a few miles of our hotel and the routes to those sites are lovely country roads, ideal for a leisurely drive through the beautiful fall colors... Once at a cider mill, the apples, cider, donuts and other tasty pastries will make you want to visit them every day.

The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the birthplace of the Model T and the celebration of Detroit’s automotive heritage.

The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village complex is the largest indoor–outdoor museum complex in the United States. It began as Henry Ford's personal collection of historic objects, which he began collecting as far back as 1906. Today, the site is primarily a collection of antique machinery, pop culture items, automobiles, locomotives, and aircraft.

Michigan Central, the previous Central Train Station in Detroit, is now, thanks to Ford Motor Co., a first-of-its-kind ecosystem combining Detroit’s rich history and its commitment to shaping the future of transportation as a global hub for mobility innovation.

This picturesque village will be the backdrop for our Car Show. It was built on land donated to the City of Northville by the Ford Motor Company. Once the site of a grist mill, it is now home to a church, gazebo, school, rustic wooden bridge, blacksmith shop, general store, interurban train station and several homes reminiscent of an era gone by.

This museum will be reopening in 2027 after a major expansion taking the campus to a 50,000-square-foot world-class entertainment and education tourist destination. Our plan is to visit the new Motown Museum during a day trip by bus to Detroit that will include visits to two additional sites.
